OPTUS + WSPA
Whales are one of the loudest beings on theplanet, producing sounds of up to 188 decibels.Yet they suffer in silence as thousands are huntedeach year. To stop the slaughter, this campaignrallied Australians together to give whales a voice. All they had to do was record themselvessaying a single word using their mobile phoneor computer, then share their good deed onsocial media to encourage their friends to dothe same.
Finally, the words we collectedwere used to create an anti-whaling speech.
