GIVE WHALES A VOICE
OPTUS + WSPA
Whales are one of the loudest beings on the planet, producing sounds of up to 188 decibels. Yet they suffer in silence as thousands are hunted each year. To stop the slaughter, this campaign rallied Australians together to give whales a voice. All they had to do was record themselves saying a single word using their mobile phone, then share their good deed on social media to encourage their friends to dot he same.
Finally, the words we collected were used to create a powerful anti-whaling speech.
